Bibles
If you have Kindle Unlimited you can probably find multiple free versions of the Bible. If you don’t have that monthly subscription service from Amazon you can click that link and sign up if you want. The benefits and cost are listed on the site. Basically you will just be able to choose from their available selection of eBooks and read as many as you want for free. If you use ebook readers a lot, this is a good deal. If you don’t then not so much. You can get a Kindle version of the Bible, probably for free. However having a physical Bible makes sure you have a copy of the Scriptures, even when there is no WiFi or electricity. Its nice to be able to put a book mark in to hold a place you want to go back to and study. Also nice to underline special passages and put notes in the margins. So here is a few choices.
The first link will bring up a list of Holy Bibles on Amazon. The offerings on this list are physical bibles. Some may be hard cover, others leather or vinyl. The importance of them is you can take them where there is no power or Internet. If you don’t have an account with Amazon you can sign up here.
This link takes you to Amazon Prime, like I use. The advantages of Amazon is if you can get it online, you can almost certainly also get it through them. The advantage for paying the extra fee for a Prime account is you get some benefits like free shipping for many things, and their Amazon Video streaming service. I’ve binge watched over 1,200 selections for free, movies and TV shows all year long. I don’t use it but there is free Amazon Music and there is a very limited selection of ebook reading too. Not the same as KU though.
I get my money’s worth just from the free shipping all year.
I want to point out, I use Amazon Prime.
When you see this page you will see options. Be aware, 9/12/2025 the annual price is over $130. This is sticker shock for someone not expecting it.
You can pay it upfront for the year or have it split into monthly which will be a little more totaled for the 12 months. Don’t get it if you wont take advantage of the benefits. If you do order online, and do video streaming and such, it will be worth the cost.
Free shipping usually within two days for most anything I get. I can’t give hard prices for the items listed below, because the vendor, might raise or lower the price the day after I publish it on this website. So I did say what it would cost ME, with my Prime free shipping, today…meaning the day I did wrote this page.
Fairly cheap, very plain, but easy to read English King James Version.
With my Prime account, I could get this one 9/12/2025, delivered within two days for under six bucks.
Large Print, Hardcover, red letter, King James Version.
Again, if I ordered 9/12/2025 with my Prime account, delivered within two days for under $15.00
King James Version Pink, Giant Print, with flowers on the cover.
Nice for some moms, wives, girls. Make sure she’s into pink though. My wife eats it up, but my daughter despises pink.
If ordered 9/12/2025 it would cost about twenty bucks. Free shipping with Prime.
For Kids Economy minded. Ordered with Prime, 9/12/2025, under six bucks with Prime’s free shipping.
This one says age six to ten, but it that would be for a good reading child. Poor readers will like the pictures, but the reading might be a bit past a six year old. In any case, its ESV, Easy Standard Version.
The New American Standard Bible. This paperback is economy minded.
Ordered with Prime, 9/12/2025, under six bucks with Prime’s free shipping.
Now for various books I wrote.
The first book, Why I Hate GOD, by David, is about pain, anger and bitterness, and the hate they can grow into. That’s how it opens. It moves on to a possible solution to these powerful and negative emotions, and many other of life’s complexities. Chapter one is titled Angry, and is only half a page long. The test readers though, once they started that page, none could quit the story until they got through that whole part of the book. Why I Hate GOD, by David is released in paperback and ebook, but also at this time you can read it free if you have an account with Kindle Unlimited. The horrible floods hit central Texas while both were out for their final edit. This coincides with the loss of life I personally experienced five years earlier that made it possible for me to write this particular book.
The second book, Easy Foundations for Christian Living in This Century, by David is the follow up book. People that read the first might find themselves wanting more information and this one gives that next step of information on Christian living. This book also points out the flaw most long time Christians blindly have within themselves, in trusting things others taught them without ever questioning GOD if those beliefs possibly have mistakes in them. It is available in paperback and ebook. I want anyone using other services than just Amazon to also be able to get the ebook so it is not listed on the Kindle Unlimited. KU is reserved to Amazon only eBooks and restricted from other ebook services. I expect that at some point the first book will be removed from KU.
Do me a favor. Please learn everything you can before making a purchase. Review the description wherever you choose to get the books. Read the back cover that you can see right there on the screen before making your decision. If there are any reviews, read them. If there are none, please come back and leave one. If the books are crap, warn other readers not to get them. If you found value in them, please explain how they helped you or how they “fit” into your life. I am not trying to sell anyone nor manipulate anyone into getting them for my reasons. Only get one or both if you feel moved to after you find out as much as you can about them
