The church has undergone significant changes over the past 70 years.
The ability to reach huge audiences all at once is wonderful. However it has caused those doing the speaking to often loose focus. Without even realizing it, they have often become so distracted by greed and things other than salvation that were also paid for on the cross, forgot their main purpose is to help with “the harvest.” Often, when presenting they have to remember not to offend anyone in the audience for fear of loosing some of their followers. In everything they do they are working to increase that number of followers and without realizing it, sometimes they compromise, just a little, in some small ways.
The church has evolved in various ways, both positive and negative.
It is a good thing that a powerful speaker can give the Gospel to huge crowds. An unfortunate side affect is sometimes those speakers focus on other areas like healing and finance, or battling politics and laws they think GOD wants them to fight. They often become ambitious about growing the size of their church membership. They often begin to utilize techniques to increase the money flowing into their control. These distractions cause these well intending leaders to lose sight of the very individuals in their audience that need the Gospel. A Gospel they sometimes don’t have time to fit into their messages because they are trying to make some point or other that they believe GOD fed them.
